How the classes work is sometimes confusing to potential students. So we want to make it perfectly clear that you know what you are going to be signing up for.
There are four types of classes methods available:
Internet (email interaction and delivery of materials)
Distance Education (postal mail)
Group Classroom Instruction
Personalized One-on-One Instruction
We list our classes in a number of weeks. This is the duration of the class. The cost of the class is by the week for the total number of weeks. To figure the cost of the class simply multiply the per week cost by the total number of weeks.
For both internet (Email) and Distance Education classes students may choose to pay in installments for classes that are 10 weeks and above. The installment arrangement is simply breaking the cost into 2 payments. For each payment half of the class will be provided. This provides the student the opportunity to learn within the budget of their pocketbook.
For internet classes: everything for the class is emailed to the student with contact information for the instructor. Students will receive information essential to study as well as lessons two times per week, with the instructor contacting them to discuss their needs, understanding, and providing additional assistance. This is primarily performed via chat.
For Distance Education classes: The class material, handouts and CD-ROM are sent out to the student via mail. There is contact information included for the instructors. Once the material is sent out the instructor will contact the student with their email information as well as chat ID for interactive discussion.
For Classroom: we invite our students into a relaxed setting with refreshments provided for each class. Depending upon the length of the class the frequency of meetings will vary. For classes 13 weeks or longer meetings will be held weekly and for classes shorter than 13 weeks, the meetings will be held once every 2 weeks. The classes will usually be on either a Tuesday or Friday (this depends upon the instructor). At this point the students are invited to gatherings, rituals, and to participate in any activities that the instructor has going on. The only requirements for classroom are that the student attend the class and provide their payment at each meeting. All other occurrances are purely voluntary.
Class rates are subject to change, however an effective change date will be posted on the site and existing students will be notified ahead of time.
